Online Enrolment

The purpose of this enrolment form is to obtain from you the information we need to enrol you into a qualification at our College. We also need to collect information from you which is required by the Ministry of Education and other Government agencies for statistical and registration purposes.

If you are a previous student of NCNZ you are not required to complete a full online enrolment form, but may do so if you wish to apply online. The alternative is to download and fill in a re-enrolment form to be posted to the College. Applications to enrol in introductory courses must be made via the post.

Once you have completed the online form, new students will be required to post additional documentation before your application can be processed:

  • Evidence of your full legal name and age, such as a verified copy of your birth certificate or passport
  • Evidence of citizenship, such as a verified copy of your birth certificate, New Zealand passport, a statement of Whakapapa, certificate of citizenship, or passport with residency stamp.

All documents provided must be verified copies. These are photocopies that has been signed as a true and accurate copy of the original by a Justice of the Peace (JP), Solicitor, Registrar or Deputy Registrar of the Court, General Practitioner, Minister of Religion or School Principal for example. You will find a list of JP's in the Yellow Pages of the telephone book or on www.jpfed.org.nz (JP's do not charge for this service).

All verified photocopies must show:

  • The name of the verifier
  • Their title (may be in the form of a stamp)
  • Their signature
  • The date verified.

Verified copies of documents must be posted to us. A faxed copy is not a legal document. If you need to obtain a birth certificate, contact Births, Deaths and Marriages on 0800 22 52 52. If you have a credit card, you can order copies of certificates over the phone.

Please note that your name, date of birth and residency as entered on this enrolment will be included in the National Student Index, and will be used in an Authorised Information Matching programme with the New Zealand Birth Register. For further information please see: http://www.minedu.govt.nz/

If you are applying for a Student Loan and/or Allowance you are advised to contact StudyLink straight away as applications can take several weeks to process. Your study material will not be sent until payment has been received.
