Introduction to Anatomy and Physiology
Anatomy and physiology are foundational subjects that underpin our understanding of what it is to be healthy. This introductory course offers an exciting introduction into the structure and function of the body, and how these are closely interlinked with one another.
Course Outline
This course provides core knowledge in Anatomy and Physiology. It is ideal for those re-entering study and leads on to further study at certificate level in Anatomy and Physiology, or toward diploma level in other health subjects.
Subjects studied include:
- Structural and functional organisation of the body
- Cells and tissues
- An overview of the cardiovascular, lymphatic, integumentary, musculoskeletal, respiratory, reproductive, nervous and endocrine systems of the body.
Course Duration
The course can be completed in whatever time span you require within a 12 month period.
Workshop Requirements
There is no exam or workshop associated with this paper. This course can be completed entirely via distance learning. You will be provided with a comprehensive set of study notes and be required to submit assessments for each module.

This course is open to all people who meet the general entry criteria as detailed in the enrolment section.

Enrolments are accepted at any time throughout the year.
Fees
